A Tribute to Troy From May 31st to October 18th, 2003, Troy the MOAG* Trophy took up residence at the Dreifuss household. Below you will find the complete dreifuss.org 'Adventures of Troy.' See my first pics of Troy here Episode 1 Troy has been bored sitting on the shelf for three weeks, so he decides to take a look around. Nobody's home, so all the toys are about. The Carcassonne Meeples greet him. The yellow meeple says: 'I really look up to you, Troy!' Episode 2 Troy: "Isn't there somewhere I can get some grub? I'm skin and bones here." Apu: "Welcome to the Kwiki Mart!" Homer: "Could I interest you in a tasty donut? Mmmmmmm -- donut!" Troy: "Do you take dice as payment?" Apu: "Thank you! Please come again!" Mike Fitch's caption: Troy: "I would like a bag of Puerto Rico Corn Chits and a dozen Meeples, please." Apu: "I'm sorry sir, No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service! Thank you, please come again!" Homer: "Mmmmmmmmm -- Corn Chits!" Episode 3 Troy: 'Perhaps if I am very still they will think I am a statue or something. Man, that black one looks really evil.' Mike Fitch's caption: Troy: "Back off! These are DICE, not mice!" Cats: "Meow." Troy: "Nice kitties." Episode 4 Troy: 'I've heard about this place called Catan, but I can't seem to figure out how to get there. This map isn't any help.' Episode 5 Troy: 'I need some cash for my trip. Maybe I can get someone to take these games off my hand. They're just weighing me down anyway.' CBG: 'I'll give you twenty-five cents apiece.' Troy: 'Whaaa?!?' CBG: 'Are you familiar with the laws of Supply and Demand? The supply is great, and the demand stinks!' Troy: 'Forget it. I could get more on Ebay.' Episode 6 Troy: If I can't come up with some dough, I'm not going to make it to Catan. How does this ebay thing work, anyhow? Hey, get this! That's the guy that wanted to give me a measly 75¢ for all my games. Heh, he's not so valuable himself! Episode 7 Troy: I gotta get outa this place. Catan or bust! Episode 8 Troy: All this walking has my base scruffed up. I've got to find someone going my way. Episode 9 Troy: " 'I don't know where I'm going, but I sure know where I've been... But I've made up my mind -- I ain't wastin' no more time...' Man, I love car tunes!" Episode 10 Troy: Well, since it's an island, there's only two ways to get there, and this is the fastest way. Problem is, I don't see Catan on these screens anywhere. I need a travel agent. Episode the Last Troy: It's even better than I had imagined; Lush green fields, majestic mountains, golden fields of wheat, cottages in the valleys, tiny sheep. Wait...!? Tiny sheep? Must be something in the water. Come to think of it, the houses are tiny, too and I can see over the treetops. Only thing that seems to be of normal size is this gentleman to my left.
